Route 91/ Las Vegas Blvd./I-15/State Route -215
This is the very convoluted story of the famous Las Vegas Blvd. in Las Vegas ,also called the Strip. It mostly follows Route 91.U.S. 91 Started in Long Beach, CA and ran all the way up to the Canadian line at Sweetgrass, Montana.. Here , in Las Vegas, it ran on the same stretch that is now Las Vegas Blvd. S. It was previously called the “Arrowhead Trail”. It no longer exists by that name here in Nevada, but in California a state route 91 still exists. To make a long story short, U.S. Route 91 existed from 1947 to 1965, and ran from Long Beach, CA to Coutts, Alberta Canada. Various, shorter parts were used to form I-15, and Nevada State Route 215. Confused? I am!
