Wild horses and burros

Red Rock Canyon

Two ways to get there. Take state Route #160 west, turn off at Blue Diamond to Red Rock. The mining that you see on your right is to make gypsum board. This is a very well paved road. The burros usually hang out beside the road, waiting for a hand out. Do not feed them. They might get killed. After you see the burros you can keep going on the same road. It will run into Charleston Bl. and  take you back to Las Vegas and the Interstate 15. You can reverse this process and start from I-15 and take Charleston Bl. and go west. Wild horses usually hang out off Rt.160 going west and a small valley to your right, just before you head into the mountains. Please do not bother the animals. Life is very tough in the desert.
