The first F 1 race in Las Vegas was held at the Caesars Palace parking lot. I had the privilege of being able to watch it without having to pay an admission fee. It gives you an idea how large that parking lot was at the time. All that land is now filled with buildings. I had a job at the Dunes on the 20th floor buffet. I was sitting in a comfy chair, with a glass of wine, and watched it all. For me it was boring, watching cars go round and round. Not my bag.
