Las Vegas Museums
I picked a few that I think are worth visiting. It isjust my opinion, you may or may not agree. The Atomic Museum. Very interesting, but not directly on the Strip. It is at 755 E. Flamingo. It is a worthwhile visit. The Neon Museum. It also is not directly on the strip. 770 Las Vegas Blvd. N. I would definitely try and visit. Time permitting of course. The Mob Museum. Very extensive collection. of photos, memorabilia. Also not on the strip. It as at downtown inside the historic Las Vegas post office building. I used to sent my mail from from time to time. Punk Rock Museum. 1455 Western Ave. More or less downtown, but not entirely. Pinball Hall of Fame. 4925 Las Vegas Blvd S. Center strip are the 3500 – 3600 numbers. But i think it can be reached by city bus. They have pin balls that make your head spin. Lots of them and they let you play them. As a bonus you can drop in at the South Point Hotel Casino. Free parking, very good/ reasonable priced buffet. Excellent steak house. What I like the most about that hotel are the regular horse shows, bucking contests and . Two full size arenas, warm up area and everything else western. I love that place. The Arte Museum, 3716 Las Vegas Blvd. S.That makes it close to center strip It is new. I have not yet been inside but word on the street is that it is really interesting. Not an ordinary museum at all.
