Battista’s Hole In The Wall – History and Atmosphere
This restaurant is the real deal if you want to experience old time Las Vegas. It opened in 1970, around the era that was so convincingly portrayed in the movie “Casino”. The walls are lines with history, with autographed photos of the many big stars who have enjoyed meals there throughout the decades. The menu is classic Italian. and when you order a meal, you get a meal — with salad and bread included and, best of all, bottomless Italian wine, all at a reasonable price unlike the celebrity-chef joints in the casinos. This is a Vegas experience you truly should not miss. Check it out at battistaslasvegas.com.
We pride ourselves in supporting local artist. This expensive space is a donation. We have three books this month to offer for purchase. They are: Nevada a Strange State, Silveropolis and The Great Lake Mead Water Caper. All proceeds will go to the artist. The books are available on Amazon.
