Instead of a bottle cap or a paper clip, he found a 61-pound nugget of fine gold. We support local authors. Here are three books that are nice to read. The first one is very interesting, with lots of drawings and short articles about Nevada. “Nevada a Strange State”, the next one is more in the scifi genre “Silveropolis” It is about the largest silver strike in Nevada history. It had to be abandoned because of a virus. The third one is about some Russian crooks that plot to steal all the water out of Lake Mead. “The Great Lake Mead Water Caper”. They are all on Amazon. Every time one of the books is purchased a Nevada artist is supported.
