State of Nevada Museum of Natural History
309 S. Valley View, just one block south of the I-95 with a convenient off ramp. It is the same entrance as the Springs Preserve. Excellent museum. I make it a point to visit as much as possible The only Woolly Mammoth skeleton I have ever seen. It is huge. Lots of interesting things, very well organized. A nominal admission of ten dollars is asked. Well worth it. http://www.lasvegasmuseum.org

We are strong believers in supporting the arts. Here are three books that are worth reading in our opinion. They are available on Amazon. Nevada a Strange State, Silveropolis, The Great Lake Mead Water Caper.
