Boulder City Co. Store

THE REVIVAL OF A LOCAL LANDMARK
Just twenty five miles south of the strip, on very well maintained roads, lies the small town of Boulder City. Boulder City was a bright beacon to the desperate people of the Great Depression. The Company Store rose to meet the needs of 5,200 workers hired to build the Hoover Dam from 1931-1936. Its slogan is “BE A BOULDERITE”. The store is right in down town Boulder City. It offers always fresh coffee and pastries.with plenty of seating indoors or out It sells in house designed t shirts and textiles, home crafted jewelry items, and a large selection of wooden music boxes. From Harry Potter to Star Wars, it is all there. There is a selection of books written by locals. I am a strong believer in that. Check for example “Nevada a Strange State” It is astounding all the stuff that happened around this state. The owner is Tara. She is a very friendly and inviting person, easy to talk to. http://bouldercitystore.com
