Las Vegas has emerged as a dominant sports city. Proof is in the number of franchises that are eager to relocate to the city. It already hosts the NHL, the NFL, the WNBA. Baseball will be here also. Is it sustainable? Time will tell. But for now the teams that are already

here are doing well. The population of Las Vegas, N. Las Vegas and Henderson is much larger than it was only ten years ago. It now is around 2.75 million for the greater Las Vegas area. Plus there are a number of small, outlying towns that could be added into the total number. And there are the visitors. That number was 40 million last year. It seems to increase every year.
