There were a few golf courses right on the strip. That’s what made it so attractive. I worked at the Dunes. Between the Dunes and the freeway (I- 15), was a large golf course. Another golf course was where the MGM now sits. It was the Tropicana course. The last course that is actually on the strip is at the Wynn. I don’t know if it is for hotel guests only..
