Playa Sailing
It also is called “land sailing” , playas are dry lake beds. Some are dry permanently, others could have water after a rainstorm. Generally they are dry though. Just as is with dune buggies, so is sailing on a playa, it requires specialized gear. It basically just a seat on a tri wheeled vehicle. from that seat the “sailor” controls the sails via ropes. Just like a regular sail boat. http://www.omegalandsailing.com or http://www.nw.nalsa.com.
We do as much as possible to support local artists. We donate this expensive space for example. The artist of the month is an up and coming author. Here are three of his books we like a lot: Nevada a Strange State, Sileropolis, The Great Lake Made Water Caper. By purchasing a book you would help this author to keep writing. Thanks. They are available on Amazon.
