The Mormon Fort
Erected in 1855 it was the first non native permanent settlement in the Vegas valley. It was built by Mormon missionaries, alongside a spring fed creek at the corner of what is now Las Vegas Blvd. and Washington. It is interesting to historians, other than that I have my doubts. But still, the state Of Nevada spends a good chunk of money to preserve its history. http://www.parks.nv gov
We do all we can to support local artists. To that end we donate the space to deserving artists. This month we have three books we find interesting/enjoyable. They are: Nevada a Strange State, Silveropolis, The Great Lake Mead Water Caper. We, and the artist, thank you for your support. They are available on Amazon.
