The reason I mention those two together is because Berlin is a ghost town and it is watched over by Nevada Park Rangers. It takes a four wheel drive and extra supplies to reach that park. It is in the center of the state, in Nye county. Nye county at about 20.000 square miles is the second largest county in the U.S. The only complete skeleton in the U.S. of a prehistoric fish is on display. Berlin, the adjoining ghost town is almost completely preserved including pots and pans. It is a bit of travel from Las Vegas. It may not be for everyone.
