The 2011 Boulder City Gingerbread House Contest and Christmas Faire
Come out to clean, green Boulder City and have some fun of a different kind. Gingerbread Houses constructed by kids of all ages (some of them 80 years old) compete for prizes and fame during this three-day event, then will be auctioned off, with auction proceeds donated to charity. The Christmas Faire is your chance to get your holiday gifts on this first big shopping weekend of the season. Boulder City is a cute 1930's town with no crime, lots of places for dining, browsing, and cafe action. Only 20 miles south of Las Vegas, home of Hoover Dam and the amazing new Mike O'Callaghan Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge. As they say, only a few miles, but a world away.
